Get To Know Leighton

"Hi, my name is Leighton Berry. I am 24 years old, from Weatherford, Texas. I've always been a cowboy, and I grew up rodeoing. My dad rode bareback horses professionally and I owe my start to riding bucking horses to him. I also rope calves and team rope competitively. I am 3X NFR Qualifier, CNFR Qualifier (Canadian Finals) and Texas circuit champion. My goal is to break records every time I ride and win a world championship, hopefully multiple. God is my #1, and I enjoy spending time with my family. Without both of those key aspects in my life, I would not be where I am today."

Hobbies

When Leighton is not busy rodeoing full time, he enjoys spending his time bow hunting for hogs, elk and deer.

Fun Fact

Leighton began going to rodeos at the young age of 5. He started in the tie-down roping and team roping before switching ends of the arena in high school. While he may throw a loop now and then is main focus is being the best bareback rider he can be.
