Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo is sanctioned by both the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association. In 2002, Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo was named the PRCA’s Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year. It has been nominated for Rodeo of the Year several times since and continues to be an event that draws almost 1,000 contestants to the Panhandle region each year. In 2015, Guymon’s rodeo was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and still stands as the only rodeo in Oklahoma to receive such an honor.

Women's Rodeo World Championship

After four days of competition inside Cowtown Coliseum from May 13-16, 2024, the Championship Round of the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will conclude inside the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys alongside 2024 PBR World Finals Championship on May 18-19, 2024, where each WRWC event champion will be crowned, earning the lion’s share of the massive $750,000 purse.

The 2024 Redding Rodeo is Wednesday May 15th to Saturday May 18th. All the performances start at 7:00 pm. The gates will open at 5 pm each night. All of the vendors, including food and drinks will open at 5 pm. The performance will run for about 2.5 hours. On Wednesday and Thursday, alcohol will be stop being served when the last set of bulls begin to buck. There are no events after the performance on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday night, the Cantina Party will kick off after the rodeo. Stay and enjoy some dancing, drinks and hanging out with friends. The Cantina Party will end at 12:00AM with last call about 11:30 p.m.
